Some Earth Day Plans...

Fundraising and the Earth are our two main focuses. By helping schools to fundraise, we are helping to bring about programs you need and want within your school. It is our hope that conducting an eco-friendly fundraiser will bring focus to a sometimes forgotten environmental awareness campaign within your school. Earth Day does a good job of bringing attention to taking care of good old Mother Earth, too.

We thought a couple people had great ideas for what they were planning to do on Earth Day, so we thought we'd share them with you.

Nathan Winters of Preserve through Exploration caught our eye with his plans. He put a techie spin on it! He is conducting a "Tweetraiser" meaning that he will plant a tree for every new follower he gets to follow him on twitter. That's a cool way to use twitter! Visit him at http://nathanwinters.tumblr.com/post/83230302/plant-a-tree-on-earthday.

My city's green changes: single stream curbside recycling & backyard chickens! (permit required). Town wants 2 go zero waste.NatureDeva, as she is known on twitter, had the above exciting news to share about strides her town is taking towards being more green.
